Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for everything done through your account.

Cashup helps you record and organise your own money: expenses, budgets, goals, dues and shared costs. It does not connect to your bank, move money, or hold funds. Balances, reports and suggestions are based only on what you enter or approve.

Cashup and its money guides are general information, not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Check important figures against your bank and official records before relying on them.

Your records belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Cashup for you and the people you choose to share with. You can export your transactions and delete your account at any time from Settings.

When you add people to a group or create a share link, you are responsible for having their agreement to share the details you enter about them.

Do not use Cashup to break the law, harass or impersonate anyone, send spam through share links, try to access other people’s data, probe or overload the service, or get around plan limits. We may suspend accounts that do.

• The free plan and its limits are described on the pricing section. We may change free features with reasonable notice.
• Cashup Plus is a subscription billed monthly or yearly in US dollars. Dodo Payments sells it as merchant of record and handles payment, taxes and invoices.
• Plus renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel in Settings → Manage billing. When you cancel, Plus stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• If we change the Plus price, we will tell you before your next renewal and the new price will apply only from that renewal.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy. A refunded or charged-back payment ends Plus for that period.

We work to keep Cashup reliable and your data backed up, but the service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable. We may add, change or remove features, and will give notice before removing anything you pay for.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information in Cashup. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved quickly.
